Long live the weekend! We had a really productive and relaxing holiday and I hope that you all did as well. We re-mulched, planted flowers, trimmed our bushes and re-painted our front door to freshen everything up for summer. It's amazing what a few finishing touches can do to spruce up the front of your home! On Saturday, we went to see Alice Through the Looking Glass at the drive-in. We've learned from experience, that we probably aren't going to be able to watch a movie in the theater until Grayson is a little bit older. That works best for us anyway, because we actually prefer going to the drive-in. There is something just so nostalgic and fun about laying your seat back all cuddled up and listening to a movie through your radio. We brought pillows and blankets and made our own little car fort. On Memorial Day, we went to the Taste of Cincinnati. We tried the crab cake sandwich and firecracker shrimp tacos from Mccormick and Schmick's and a grilled cheese donut from Tom & Chee. Afterwards, we went to Smale Park and walked around downtown a bit and then went to the Yard House. We LOVE weekends especially long ones and are so thankful and appreciative to those that so graciously lay their life on the line for us and our freedom to enjoy!!
